Preppy, simple, chic - an outfit of freedom fit for jumping in, dancing in and comfortable enough to last the shenanigans from morning to night; sleek enough to make the conversion too.

There is just something about this look, perhaps the bare midriff, the slight grungy touch of the boots or the contrast which the prim, petite singlet/shirt combo provides, which embodies a carefree vibe.

The high waist of the skirt paired with the basic singlet lengthens the body and legs, with the layering of the shirt providing an ‘I just chucked this on and ran out of the house’ feel. An outfit base with a youthful, innocent look mixed in with sophistication and elegance, when the crisp white shirt is intertwined with a festival zeal.

A modern day look inspired by Jane Austen’s 'Sense and Sensibility’; the coexistence of two contrasting feelings.

Get the look:

Navy singlet - Kookai Button up skirt - Asobio Boots - Eos (found in any Wittner) White shirt - Zara (I have used this in every one of my posts so far; that is how much I love it)

Love, Ingrid
