Hit the pool

There’s nothing better than taking photos at the pool while watching all the fit people swim. That being said, after buying this sporty but absolutely sophisticated (no fluorescent polka dots to be seen) crop top from Lululemon, I’m slightly more motivated to get my goggles on and start pumping out some laps in the slow lane with that perfect mix of beginner swimmers, smiling and nodding at each other at the end of each lap while simultaneously dying inside. If you’re as out of breath as I am from reading that sentence, maybe we should both hit the pool.

The jump in photos from an active-wear vibe at the pool to a beachy summer vibe, lying in the sun, just demonstrates the versatility of the pieces I’m wearing. I put it down to the strength of the material, the sleek monochromatic effect and the subtle change that occurs when the zip of the top is undone slightly. These small factors make it easy to transition between fitspiration and beach potato. The idea is, that once you get fit, you’ll make a better beach potato, and you only need one pair of swimmers to do it.
