Here I go again; one jumpsuit, two personas. Sound familiar?

I’d just like to start by saying that this beautiful piece from Country Road the best thing I have bought since my favourite floral skirt from when I was 10. And that’s saying something. That skirt is still in my wardrobe.

On my adventure in the Melbourne CBD this morning, I was struck by how amazing my city actually is. Around every corner, there is something gorgeous to be found. Every single street is filled with either colourful street art, warm and fuzzy cafes, unique boutiques, or just beautiful architecture. Everything makes for a picture perfect photo. As someone who’s lived here all my life, I loved exploring Melbourne today.

Anyway.

I see this blog post as two worlds colliding. Artsy, effortlessly chic student meets the epitome of class and elegance. And surprisingly, it works. Both looks utilise the sleek white bang of the culotte jumpsuit to their advantage, just in different ways.

I love the carefree vibe of the more casual look; whether it be traipsing through the city, or taking on a walk, nothing would be an issue in this outfit. The bright colours of the sneakers, bracelets and bag don’t blend in. But that’s exactly what I wanted. They stand out, but in a minimal way, with the denim jacket perfecting the carefree, edgy touch.

I also love the power and elegance of the more formal look. Accessories are unnecessary. All I needed was a bold red lip and some neutral shoes. Take away the distraction of flying hair with a high pony and the outfit is perfect. Cue wind, a small smile and here we have an A+ photo. The simple combination of a vivid lip and monochrome pieces works wonders.
